The Cameron Day Charitable Trust was founded in 2022 with the aim of continuing the legacy of a remarkable young man: of creativity, determination, hard work and kindness. Led by our nine trustees, The CDCT’s mission is to support creative young people to realise their potential, and in doing so, keep Cameron’s name and values alive.

CDCT Grants 2024

Huge congratulations to our six Grant recipients, who were recognised by tutors for their exceptional Cam-do attitude, determination and commitment to their studies and were each awarded a £500 Grant from The CDCT in January 2024. Well done Allyce, Annabelle, Jasmine, Molly, Natalie and Paola — we look forward to celebrating with you at Celebrating Design 2024! Congratulations to all 18 nominated students, you are all a credit to yourselves and your courses.

Celebrating Design

Thank you for your support at Celebrating Design 2023 on 15th July — our inaugural event celebrated the students we have supported through our Grants and Roulette, Cam on his 23rd birthday, and recognised The CDCT’s achievements as we celebrated our first anniversary. We look forward to welcoming you to Celebrating Design 2024 on 20th July!

We are a new charity but have big dreams and big plans. The CDCT was created thanks to generous donations from family and friends while Cam was in hospital and after his death.
