Lucy based her Roulette project on the idea of nostalgia, specifically how it can distort people’s perception of reality by allowing them to see events through ‘rose tinted glasses’.

She created a Z-fold typographic book exploring how two people can seemingly experience the same event but have completely different memories of the day: through the eyes of a parent and child. Together, the two different perspectives demonstrate the duality of memories and how one person’s ‘imperfect’ is another person’s ‘perfect’.
