Jessica urges us all to “embrace serendipity” by using Whim to transform everyday walks into adventures of discovery. Recognising that we all have a tendency to “walk the same paths”, Jessica’s project supports us to find unexpected joy in the journey itself.

Whilst there are so many “treausres hiding in plain sight”, typical navigation apps focus on predetermined routes and planning explorations adds cognitive burden to already busy lives. Jessica’s idea therefore is an app which identifies and alerts you when you are near intriguing points of interest and invites you to discover simple diversions and discover new found joy.
