Holly focusses on the worst kept secret surrounding unwanted, or “bad gifts”. Researching how common it is to experience disappointment on receiving a gift, Holly was driven to create a more sustainable solution.

“Etsy Confessional” provides an opportunity for people to donate unwanted gifts to a charity of their choice, and in return receive an Etsy discount for each ‘confession’. Etsy Confessional locations work on a pop up basis, with local billboard advertising, social media presence and a microsite. This makes Etsy Confessional an easy to navigate and sustainable experience, leaving users with a “cleansing of the conscience” as charities benefit.
